I can support you in exploring your feelings of depression and anxiety and this may help you to let go of what can feel like stuckness in order for you to regain a bit more control in your life.  You might be experiencing:

Grief- Is there something or someone you have lost or has died?  Have you lost your sense of self or unsure of what your purpose is?

Panic Attacks- are you feeling overwhelmed and unable to let go of feelings you're holding onto like sadness, anger?

Depression and anxiety- are you feeling low and helpless but unsure of how to manage those feelings?

I work with Domestic abuse, self harm, suicidal thoughts, life transitions, loss, bereavement, stress all in a Trauma-infomed way.

My approach
I work using an integrative approach which means I use a range of theoretical ideas and skills to support your understanding and emotional wellbeing, for example Psychodynamic- past experiences, unconscious thoughts and feelings that may have come from childhood, Existential- life, death, acceptance of how things are and finding a purpose, and Person-centred- Looking at what's happening in your life now.
I use a range of creative methods to help you to explore and gain an increased understanding of yourself this may include using sand, paints, clay and other creative mediums.

All my work is trauma- informed and I work with the idea that we hold our unprocessed emotions in our bodies, this can lead to us feeling disconnected from ourselves and we have a tendency to think rather than feel. Part of the work we can do is to become more self aware and to notice how to stop repeating feelings of being stuck in the past and living more in the present from a place of safety.

I also have an interest in loss, grief and bereavement and how loss is not only part of being human but how we can navigate ourselves through difficult times in order to thrive rather than survive.
